Drawing straws has historically served as an impartial method for resolving disputes, whether it be trivial matters like determining who will clean up after a pet, or more significant decisions such as assigning responsibilities among colleagues. A notable instance of this method being employed occurred in Mississippi in November 2015, when both candidates in a tightly contested election received an equal number of votes—4,589 each.

This application presents two distinct versions of the drawing straws concept, each utilizing a random algorithm to determine the individual who has drawn the short straw. The first variant, termed "Quick Game," visually associates the short straw with an on-screen image, allowing participants to randomly draw and identify the chosen individual. The second variant, labeled "Enter Names," permits users to input the names of participants along with the rationale for drawing straws. Upon finalization, results can be conveniently shared with all involved parties or selectively with chosen individuals.
